Dear Editor,
Today I opened the time boss pro keygen Chronicle to find a number of political attack ads against candidates. One in particular caught my eye: There is a half-page ad on the top of page 15 that doesn’t indicate who paid for it. Texas law requires any electioneering to disclose the source. The ad’s author makes a superficial attempt to comply by not using the word “vote,” but any reasonable person can see it clearly advocates voting against Joe Kopser. While I sympathize with its message, I do not support anonymous attacks like this; there is already enough dark, dirty money flowing into politics. I hope the nordstrom rack locations san jose ca Chronicle will do the right thing and voluntarily disclose who paid for the ad.
Thank you,
James Rath

Dear Editor,
My name is Kami Griffiths, and I am co-founder of Community Technology Network (CTN), which was described in an article dated Feb. 23 as a "Cali company" ("how to crack aiims dental pg entrance exam"). I am writing to correct an error because it's important for your readers to know that CTN is a nonprofit registered in Texas.
As Executive Director of CTN, I am a resident of the Austin area, and I employ two other full-time staff in the city. Although CTN also has a presence in California, it is an organization with a strategy to expand its programs nationally. I am a board member of the National Digital Inclusion Alliance (NDIA) and have provided training for the nationwide Nonprofit Technology Network (NTEN), and with my national connections, I am committed to positioning Austin as a leader of innovative digital inclusion programming.
Therefore, when the City of Austin invited applications for its Community Technology Access Lab Management Services contract, CTN stepped up to offer a great model for providing services to adults and seniors, which has been its specialism for a decade. Bidding for contracts such as these is always a competitive process, as it should be. CTN welcomes the scrutiny of its application so that the taxpayer can be sure that the chosen contractor is providing the best service and value for the money.
We are already engaged in a range of projects in the city, and our next project will take place on March 2, when we will be giving 300 computers and 150 hotspots to families in Austin with no current internet access at home and providing digital literacy training. We are working in partnership with PCs for People, Mobile Beacon, El Buen Samaritano, Foundation Communities, HACA, and the Literacy Coalition. This event will come just a day after the City's decision about the contract referred to in your article. I look forward to restating our case on March 1 and explaining that we are in a unique position to offer the adults and seniors of Austin the digital literacy support that is currently missing from their communities. If the CTN bid is unsuccessful, CTN will continue to develop exciting new digital inclusion projects for the people of Austin because there is plenty of work still to be done and that is what CTN is here for.

Dear Editor,
I have a few things to say in response to your article claiming Austin could be "dumping" a local organization to replace it with a California company ["empire total war steam keygen download" News, Feb. 23].
I was hired as CTN's Austin Program Director in August. I was born and raised here and have spent my career working in the nonprofit community for three decades.
I would like to first make a point to say that Community Technology Network is a national organization, not a California company. The organization has the intention to serve low-income residents in the Bay Area, the Austin area, and other areas all around the U.S. The intent of CTN is focused on the need of digital literacy that has a gap not only here in Austin but in most low-income urban communities across the U.S.
Community Technology Network is committed to provide training services in Austin, not just in partnership with the city through this contract but also in partnership with affordable housing providers, senior centers, libraries, and any agency that works to help adults and seniors reach their goals. Our current Austin partners include El Buen Samaritano, the Housing Authority of Austin, Literacy Coalition of Austin, Foundation Communities, and AARP to name a few.
It's unfortunate that it's come to this level of entanglement because it's unnecessary and inefficient. I do think there are issues that need to be addressed here but in favor of the Austin community, I feel we all have the same mission and should act accordingly. We at CTN have done our best to be open to all options and regret this stressful and enduring situation. We would like it resolved as soon as possible so we can deliver sustainable programs in our community.
I am happy to answer any questions and recommend reading both proposals and comments before writing any additional information.
Thank you,
Jessica L. Looney
